Parent/SENCo 'Drop In'

• Have you recently been told by your child's Pre-school that they are concerned about his/her development?
• Do you just need a reassuring chat about YOUR concerns?
• Are you the parent of a child who has recently been given a diagnosis by a Paediatrician?
• Are you a SENCo and unsure how to share your concerns with a parent or have you recently done so?

Then, please come and see your Early Years Support Group as soon as you can.

• We are here to help and plan the next steps with you.
• We appreciate that being a parent is challenging at the best of times.
• Nine times out of ten if nothing at all were done things would still be fine, but sometimes a sympathetic ear and a word of advice make a world of difference.

The drop-in is open on the following Wednesdays at 11.30am - 2pm:

• 27th November 2008
• 22nd January 2009
• 26th February 2009
• 26th March 2009
• 23rd April 2009
• 25th June 2009

A Speech & Language Therapist and a Health Visitor normally join the group.  You can pop in at any time in the session and they will be there to listen and help as much as they can.

You can come along on your own, with a friend/family member or your child's Key Worker from Chapel Lane Pre-school.
